For safety, all visitors are required to wear a mask; exhibit floor capacity is limited to ten guests at a time. 

Sharing Our Story

Walk through time starting from early settlements to recent history of Rome and surrounding areas. Our rich, storied past reveals a diversity of people and lifeways that have shaped our unique southern portrait.

Admission is always free and accessible to all.

The Rome Area History Center is a non-profit organization supported by donors, sponsors and fundraising efforts.
